Ovid

Ovid Madiba Dernbach is a young german,
east african photographer and designer from southern Germany. He specializes in conceptual art and design.

In his first two semesters, he explored the emotional expression of objects in the Design Fundamentals course with Prof. Ben Santo, a recurring theme in his work. The protagonists of his stories are usually objects. Through a blend of still life and documentary photography, he captures the nuances of lived experience. He is inspired by the photographer and artist Hicham Benhoud.
